Limited Edition Plates

Collectors of ceramic plates truly enjoy their hobby. They have good reason to. Ceramic plates are beautiful, somewhat easy to accumulate, often very affordable, and if you have a good eye for a bargain, they very often increase in value. Ceramic Plate collectors are an active breed. Many will go so far as to cross multiple state lines to purchase, or sometimes just inspect, a collection or particular piece they are looking to acquire. It is worth the trip too. Some pieces can be worth a nice chunk of change. Some collectors will pay for a particular piece to be shipped internationally just for an appraisal. While this is the exception to the rule, if you‘re a collector of ceramic plates and a key piece for your collection becomes available, it can be worth the effort. If you have ever attended an estate sale held for someone recently deceased, you might notice that some of the items are those held by that individual most, if not all, of their lives.
